Dual-color design differentiates the metric and Imperial sides. On the Imperial side, each line is even marked in 1/4″ , 1/8″ and 1/16″ against a colorful background so there is no guessing or counting lines. On the metric side, the millimeter hash marks rise and fall, making it easy to identify the measurements against the black background. Millimeters are even numbered by fives, including 5, 15, 25 and so on. Nonglare surface on the 12″ plastic ruler makes reading quick and easy.
